Interesting experiment in Colorado

I just happened upon this news article of an experiment in doing away with grade levels in the Adams 50 school system. Outliers talks about problems with not staggering students based on their ages.

  1. Wow!
I have for several years contemplated why school wasn't set up the way most of us learn a musical instrument - you have to master a level of playing before you are given more difficult compositions, and you advance as far as you are willing to make the effort. It appears that not only have others had a similar contemplation, they have actually acted on it! I will be very interested to see how this goes.
